We had told everyone that there would be no Gallery Hop this Saturday because it was Labor Day weekend (yep, even CapCity Salsa needs a break sometimes!). But as we will all be out of town for Gallery Hop next month, dancing at the Hotlanta Salsa Festival, we decided that we couldn’t deprive you from dancing out in the street and we’re having salsa at Gallery Hop from 5 to 10 pm this Saturday. Just stop by and have a little dance with us, or just watch other people dancing, it’s just some fun hanging out time!

Location: In front of Da Levee, on High Street

This is going to be the first entry in the CapCity Salsa Blog that is not centered around the music and goings-on of a Vintage Salsa Night and so, we thought it would be appropriate to start with a minor Salsa health check-up. The same way you might go to the doctor in order to get a baseline assessment done, we’re going to start with a baseline assessment of the salsa scene here in Columbus.
