It’s a well established trend that your second night is one of the toughest. Part of it is that everyone wants to come to a grand opening, and then all of the people that only come occasionally have just come, so they won’t be coming back for a while. For us here at CapCity Salsa, we came in fresh off the high of an amazing first event… and I am here to say that Columbus came out again to say that they love to dance to that rich, danceable salsa beat. We’re stoked. We’re excited. We’re ready to do it again, and from the feedback we are receiving… it sounds like everyone else feels exactly the same.
In related news, our next event will be Salsa at Gallery Hop on October 3rd from 5pm to 10pm. This is a free event open to the existing dance community and anyone that happens to be walking by. This will be out-door, on-the-sidewalk dancing so bring your tennis shoes or Vans. If you can’t make it for the whole time, no worries. Think of Salsa at Gallery Hop as a BBQ without the food. Come, dance, hang out, dance, look at some art, dance, go to a restaurant, dance. It’s big fun, and there is just something special about dancing outside.
One last thing, check the gallery for photos from the Vintage Salsa Night
